Quiet... like the sound of a cumulous cloud floating by... or a butterfly flittering it's wings... no sound... just casual patience... a waiting for the pie to come from the oven... the cream to peak at it's whipping... the idea that will make it all right Quiet... like a blue sky on a summer day, and a frost on the window... we write our names knowing... the sun will melt it off but the sun is so quiet... that we dont care we smile by: nikki giovanni *note* i didnt write this poem, this is by nikki giovanni. i just put it here because i thought it was cool.
